It Takes Two! - S&D Wedding

I love weddings!  I really do!  I'm sure I've mentioned that on this blog a few times but I think weddings are full of love, sentiment, and fun!  Last weekend we went to the wedding of our friends, Steffany and Dustin!  The wedding was at a beautiful venue in Royce City.  It was a bit of a drive but a fantastic location in the country with an indoor/outdoor hall!

The Big Sky Event hall (top left) had several great places for pictures! 

Every detail was beautiful!  I love to take pictures of all the little elements because I know/remember how much effort goes into each little thing!
Top Left: Flower girls dancing in the glow after the sun set!  The weather was perfect and I loved how the building had a ton of large windows opening up to make it a semi-outdoor wedding!
Top Right: I loved the sequined table cloth at the couples table!
Bottom Left: Gorgeous cake!  A few layers were raspberry swirl and the top layer was champagne flavor!
Bottom Middle: Steffany did an amazing job on the unique center pieces!!!  I loved the wood slice and the personal touch of their favorite books!  
Bottom Right: Grooms cake cheese cake!

Top Left: The ceremony was short and sweet over looking the lake (with a fountain)!

We had such a blast at Steffany and Dustin's wedding and wish them a life time of happy memories!  Fantastic party and even better couple!  Love you guys!

With the end of the year approaching, it feels like there are so many projects that remain unfinished.  Is that just us?  This last month we've been trying to finish random thoughts, projects, and plans.  It's impossible to finish everything but it's nice to get a few things checked off. Jordan and I had a fantastic break this past weekend.  We got the opportunity to hang out with our friends, Nathan and Mallory!  They had plans in the Dallas area so we organized a little game night since we hadn't seen them in a while! Top : The four of us decided to go to The Rock to eat a little pizza.  This place was just being built when they moved.  As usual it was delicious food!  Jordan and I like the "Crazy Train" pizza a lot. Bottom Left and Right : We played several games after dinner and I discovered that I am HORRIBLE at the game, Pit.  As in, I never had positive points!  Despite my losing streak, I highly recommend this game.  The game is loud and hilarious.  Oh, and it also works a better with a larger group.  With only 4 people it was a little tricky to trade for goods.  After playing Pit, we played a rousing game of War and then moved on to Pictionary.  Mallory and I usually give the boys a run for...

Hot Pepper Halloween

This week has been strange for Jordan and I.  Our work schedules are a little skewed because we made and unplanned trip to see some family in the hospital this week.  Not to worry, everyone is fine and all is well!  I had prepared this post about our Halloween festivities so you'll have to forgive my tardiness in publishing! Halloween fell on a Saturday this year, which is SO nice compared to past years.  It also happened to be the day TTU played OSU in football so we had our OSU friends, Mallory and Nathan, over for the weekend! I got a little carried away with the food... Now that the weather is cooling down, it's easier to fire up the oven to make baked goodies.
