Fort Worth Friendships
Does Fort Worth ever cross your mind? FtW is a great town and in my opinion, way better than Dallas. Jordan and I spent last weekend in the FtW area so that I could attend a bachelorette party! My dear friend, Amanda, is getting married this year! I first met Amanda in 7th grade and we were two peas in a pod through middle and high school. I have sweet memories of us girls chatting and dreaming about our futures during long bus rides with the band to HS football games. This girl survived adolescence, trigonometry, prom, and so many other events with me! I'm so thrilled for this new chapter in her life and honored to celebrate with her!
Jordan was such a sweetie and offered to drop me off and pick me up at the end of the evening. Since we were already in the area and had a few spare minutes, Jordan and I stopped by the church where we got married to take a quick selfie! The FUMC in downtown FtW is such a gorgeous building but that place feels so special to us! It doesn't get much better than that!
Selfie at the front door of the sanctuary! This month will be 6 years since Jordan and I got married and I love this man more year after year!
Later that evening, the festivities started! Amanda looked gorgeous and I had fun getting to know her sweet friends!
Briana and Kacy did a beautiful job decorating it looked so pretty! This beautiful sash was purchased via Etsy.com and was the perfect classy addition to Amanda's outfit.
I don't have too many photos from the evening but managed to pull together the following favorites of the night.
We celebrated progressive style hopping around places such as Piranha sushi and Taverna. Both were new places to me and seemed like great venues!
Lastly, this cake pictured in the bottom right was A-mazing! This is from the Swiss Pastry Shop also in downtown cowtown. It has a very light texture and isn't at all what I would describe as "cake-like". Yum!
That's it for today. Happy March everyone!
