A+C Wedding Day!

Whew!  Jordan and I have had a whirl-wind of a week!  Last week we flew to Virginia to see my brother, Andy, marry the love of his life!  I'm amazed with how much we packed into the trip and have really enjoyed going through the pictures!  I just can't express how happy I am that Andy has found his lovely bride!  You can feel the joy and love exude from them and it makes my heart swell!

I couldn't even begin to share all the wonderful pictures from our trip but I did my best to consolidate the best ones into this post!

Top Left: Jordan, K (my niece), and I in the back of the car heading to a burger night with family!  Every time I see K, I irrationally wonder if she'll remember me or even want to hang out with us.  She, of course, always remembers us and seems to grow like a weed!
Top Right: Burger night puppy dog face!
Bottom Left: This is my new sister, Christina, Andy, and I.
Bottom Right: K with Dad - check out that nail polish!  Even after all these years, it's strange to hear her call him "Grandpa".  It takes a minute to click who she is talking about!

Top: Andy, Dad, and Scott
Bottom Right: K with "Grandpa" causing trouble.
Bottom Left: Friday night, the cavalry (aka the family) started to arrive!  We have a large family and it's always fun coming together to celebrate life's events!

All Pics: Friday, we hit up Sushi King for lunch and it was AMAZING!  I discovered that my favorite sushi rolls were "Orchard" and "Virginia Beach".  YUM!

Top: Friday, we also stopped at the all important tackle shop.  I'm proud to say that Elizabeth and I were troopers while watching the boys drool over fishy things.
Bottom Left: The ceremony site was right next to the beach so we snagged a few pictures before the rehearsal.  This is Scott and his lovely fiance, Elizabeth.
Bottom Right: I love this picture of Mom and Dad!

Top: Jordan and I on the beach!  Gosh, just seeing the sand makes me crave a beachy vacation!
Bottom Left: This is Andy and our Aunt Cindy at the rehearsal dinner.
Bottom Right: Me, Mom, Dad, and Elizabeth - corral seemed to be THE color this season!

Top: This is a picture of the bride and bridesmaids at the rehearsal dinner!  L to R: Tanya, Kristin, Jenn, the bride Christina, flowergirl K, Lauren, Lindsay, Lauren, and Me!
Bottom Right: K and I at the rehearsal dinner!  Oh, that sweet face!
Bottom Left: Sorry, these pics are a little out of order but this is a picture of the bromance fishing the morning of the wedding.  I can't remember who deserves photo credit but thank you, whomever you are!  L to R: Andy, Lou, Scott

The wedding day was finally here!
Top Left: This is my wedding hair!  I was glad to have it all put up and surprisingly it was pretty comfortable.
Top Middle: Our pretty flower girl getting sparkly princess hair!
Top Right: The flowers were gorgeous hydrangeas!  They were very elegant and held up well throughout the evening.
Bottom Left: Tanya and I on our way to the ceremony!
Bottom Right: Some of the girls in our van heading to the wedding!

As a bridesmaid, I had a job to do so Jordan was kind enough to take oodles of pictures!  He did a phenomenal job!  I especially love these outdoor beach pics!
Top: The Groom and Groomsmen!  From L to R: Scott, Blake, Lou, Andy, John, and Dalton.
Bottom Left: Me with my two handsome brothers.  We come from good stock y'all!
Bottom Right: Scott and Elizabeth!

Top Left: Jordan and I just before the ceremony!  Upon reflection, this is just about the only picture we got together at the actual wedding.  I guess I need to work on that..lol!
Top Right: Mom, Christina, and I - the color combos again turned out great!
Bottom Left: Me and Mom!
Bottom Right: The shoes were glorious!  K had some adorable silver shoes and the shoes I found happened to look really similar.  L to R: Me, K, Christina, Mom

Top Left: I love wedding cake and this one was beautiful!
Top Middle: Andy and Christina's first dance!
Top Right: Toasting flutes!
Bottom: This is the whole wedding party!  Believe it or not, we managed to get 14 adults and 1 kid wrangled for the ceremony!

Top Left: Photo credit to Scott.  Clearly, I stole this picture from Facebook.  I got a good giggle out of this picture and couldn't help but re-share!
Right: John had the honor to escort TWO ladies during the ceremony and reception entrance.  He really seemed to embrace the groomsmen thing.
Bottom Left: Beach picture of the new couple!

Top: Me, Elizabeth, Scott, Sarah, and Brian
Bottom Left: Jordan had a lot of fun dancing with K.  I'm not sure who wore out first!
Bottom Right: Mother/Son dance!

When it comes to cake smashing, you never know what might happen.  I'm guessing most brides were like me and didn't want cake all over their dress and face so a truce of sorts is usually established.  Welp, all bets are off after the vows! Christina got him good!

Top Left: More dancing with K!
Top Right: K and I with our hair all done!
Bottom Left: My cousin-in-law Ryan, Aunt Barb, and Aunt Sue!
Bottom Right: Me with my glowing cousin, Diana!

We have this tradition in our family where we literally raise up him/her in a very "supportive" fashion.  We gave Andy, Christina, and K all the same treatment!  I just love the expressions and the fun around this tradition!

And before we knew it, it was time to go home. I was sad to leave Virginia, but I'm so happy to have a new sister!  I leave you with these last pictures.
Top Left: Mom, Andy, and Lou - Jordan and I decided that these three are hilarious in a room together (and loud).  Love 'em!
Bottom Left: I'd call this the blooper shot of the trip!  This is my cousin, Brian, doing who-knows-what!
Top: Abby was utterly exhausted after staying at Auntie Jenn camp.
Bottom: Farewell to Virginia Beach.

Cheers to the beautiful bride and groom and here's to a long and happy marriage!
