Engaged! A+C

I have some joyful news to share about my brother, Andy!  I decided to wait a while before posting anything in this forum because, well, family first, y'all!  It's official, Andy and Christina are engaged!  
I first met Christina last Christmas (Dec 2014) and immediately loved her.  She and Andy make a beautiful couple and I'm so excited about their future together!

You've seen pictures of this lovely couple on our blog before, but I wanted to take a moment share a few of my favorites!  I'm just so happy and proud of Andy!

Fantastic Beast and How He's Sleeping

With the end of the year approaching, it feels like there are so many projects that remain unfinished.  Is that just us?  This last month we've been trying to finish random thoughts, projects, and plans.  It's impossible to finish everything but it's nice to get a few things checked off. One of those things was getting to the root cause of Jordan's sleep habits.  The last several months, Jordan and I have been talking about our quality of sleep.  I've already told you about our new bed (you can find that post HERE ).  We both love our new bed, but I'm surprised that Jordan has still not been getting a quality night's rest.  Personally, I take a while to fall asleep but once I do, I'm like a rock.  Jordan on the other hand tosses and turns all night long.  His FitBit readout of the night is always terrible!  SO, in November we finally decided to get him into a sleep study.  The title of this post became our little inside joke be...

Jordan and I had a fantastic break this past weekend.  We got the opportunity to hang out with our friends, Nathan and Mallory!  They had plans in the Dallas area so we organized a little game night since we hadn't seen them in a while! Top : The four of us decided to go to The Rock to eat a little pizza.  This place was just being built when they moved.  As usual it was delicious food!  Jordan and I like the "Crazy Train" pizza a lot. Bottom Left and Right : We played several games after dinner and I discovered that I am HORRIBLE at the game, Pit.  As in, I never had positive points!  Despite my losing streak, I highly recommend this game.  The game is loud and hilarious.  Oh, and it also works a better with a larger group.  With only 4 people it was a little tricky to trade for goods.  After playing Pit, we played a rousing game of War and then moved on to Pictionary.  Mallory and I usually give the boys a run for...

Hot Pepper Halloween

This week has been strange for Jordan and I.  Our work schedules are a little skewed because we made and unplanned trip to see some family in the hospital this week.  Not to worry, everyone is fine and all is well!  I had prepared this post about our Halloween festivities so you'll have to forgive my tardiness in publishing! Halloween fell on a Saturday this year, which is SO nice compared to past years.  It also happened to be the day TTU played OSU in football so we had our OSU friends, Mallory and Nathan, over for the weekend! I got a little carried away with the food... Now that the weather is cooling down, it's easier to fire up the oven to make baked goodies.
